1. The agreement
By installing or using File Converter & Zip Extract ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are in addition to the Google Play Terms of Service, which also apply to anything you buy inside the app.
2. What the app does
The app converts files between formats on your device. Conversion quality depends on the file you supply. Some conversions are described in the app as partial — for example, a PDF built from a scan has no text to extract, and a slide deck is converted as text only. Read the note shown on each tool screen before you convert.
3. Your files are your responsibility
You must have the right to convert any file you open in the app. Keep your own copies of anything important. The app writes new files and never deletes or overwrites your originals, but you should still keep a backup before converting anything you cannot replace.
4. Free use and premium
New users get a set number of free conversions. After that, unlimited conversions require premium, which is sold in two ways:
• Monthly subscription — renews automatically each month until you cancel it in the Play Store.
• One-time unlock — a single payment that does not renew.
Prices shown in the app come from Google Play in your local currency, including any taxes Google collects. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies. Cancel any time at Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
Premium is tied to the Google account that bought it. Use Settings → Restore a purchase on a new device or after reinstalling.
5. Ads
Free use is supported by ads. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob and are subject to Google’s policies. Buying premium removes ads from the app.
6. What you may not do
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe someone else’s copyright, or to attempt to bypass the free limit or the purchase check. Do not redistribute, decompile or resell the app.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. Conversion results are not guaranteed to match the original file exactly, and the app is not a substitute for the software that created the file. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit, or any indirect loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country.
8. Changes and ending use
Features may change between versions. These terms may be updated, with the new version published at this address. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
